Cruise Ship Crayz September Update

September has been a devastating month for all of our friends in the Caribbean and surrounding areas, so let's focus on the good that has happened in the past, less than happy, month.

Hurricane Relief Efforts from Cruise Lines:

After a horrible Month of Hurricanes ravaging the Caribbean and surrounding areas, the cruise lines are coming together to assist with housing and sending supplies to the affected islands. Norwegian, Royal, and Carnival have deployed ships to evacuate stranded tourists and locals to the mainland and will be sending ships to supply the islands with much-needed supplies.

New Ship For Azamara and Cunard:

New ships have been announced for both Azamara and Cunard! In 2022 Cunard will debut a new ship which will be the first since the Queen Mary 2 which debuted in 2003! Cunard is part of Carnival Cooperation with three ships worldwide, targeted toward the upper class demographic.

Azamara Pursuit will join the Fleet in March 2018. Pursuit will be comparable in size to Azamara's current ship allowing her to call in unique destinations around the world. Booking for Azamara Pursuit will be available starting in October 2017.

Symphony of the Seas: Having entered wet dock the, soon to be, largest ship in the world is entering the final stages of construction to meet her May debut and is currently ahead of schedule!

Celebrity Edge: The Celebrity Edge is beginning to take shape as the pieces of the ship are arriving daily to STX France! The Edge is currently on schedule to debut in Fall of 2018 and bookings are available now, so what are you waiting for?

Hairspray will return to Sea:

After a brief hiatus, the Broadway showstopper Hairspray is returning to sea onboard the Symphony of the Seas! Having been replaced by CATS on the Oasis, Baltimore is saying hello again to Oasis's sister, Symphony of the Seas!
