In a move set to redefine luxury beach experiences, Royal Caribbean International has announced the forthcoming addition of Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico to its destination portfolio, slated for a grand opening in 2026. The announcement was made by the top executives of Royal Caribbean Group and Royal Caribbean International alongside key dignitaries from the Mexican government.

The unveiling ceremony, which took place along the scenic western coast of Cozumel, saw the presence of Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, and Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. They were joined by Bernardo Cueto Riestra, the Secretary of Tourism of Quintana Roo, Mexico, and Juanita Alonso, the Mayor of Cozumel.

Jason Liberty expressed delight in expanding their partnership with the local community and government to introduce this groundbreaking venture. "The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experiences and enables our guests to connect with the beauty of local cultures and people in the places they visit," Liberty remarked.

Michael Bayley echoed Liberty's sentiments, emphasizing the excitement surrounding Royal Caribbean's destination offerings. "Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico," Bayley stated.

Royal Beach Club Cozumel is poised to offer vacationers an unparalleled beach day experience in Mexico, meticulously curated with Royal Caribbean's signature attention to detail. The club will feature striking beaches, breathtaking views, and an array of pools catering to various preferences. From swim-up bars to private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more, the club promises something for every type of vacationer.

Moreover, the beach club will boast an assortment of dining options showcasing the flavors of Mexico, including a restaurant, bar, and lounge with panoramic views, alongside a street market. Visitors can also indulge in hands-on experiences such as tequila tastings and cooking classes, immersing themselves in the vibrant local culture.
