Oasis Class Six

Royal Caribbean announced today that they have entered into an agreement with French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique to order a sixth Oasis Class vessel. The Oasis class ships are the largest class of ships in the world ranging from 225,000 GRT to 228,000 GRT, and the sixth ship will be the largest at 231,000 + GRT. Currently, this deal is contingent upon financing which should be completed by the second or third quarter of 2019. The Oasis class of ships consist of Oasis (2009), Allure (2010), Harmony (2017), Symphony 2019, and a fifth unnamed Oasis class on the way due to debut in 2021. These ships revolutionized the industry by debuting the "neighborhood" concept onboard ships, introduced a zip line, largest dry slide at sea, a central park with 12,000 live plants, and the world's first Aqua theater at sea!

More Ships on order from Royal Caribbean International include: Spectrum of the Seas Odyssey of the Seas Icon Class Oasis 5 and 6
