Carnival Cruises has announced that they will be saying farewell to the Carnival Triumph and hello to Carnival Sunrise in 2019! We saw a similar event when the Carnival Destiny became the Carnival Sunshine back in 2013 as part of a multi-billion dollar investment to enhance all ships this drydock is much more intense said to leave the Carnival Sunrise with no traces of the Triumph!
So whats changing? Well, a little bit of everything! The Sunrise will offer new dining, entertainment, activity options and more!
New and Updated Accommodations: To start we will see the redesign of two incredible "Captain Suites" which will be near the navigational bridge and "Extended Balcony Grand Suites." Not only will we see new suites but every stateroom will receive updates!
New Dining offerings: In addition to renovations to current dining offerings the Sunrise will boast more dining options that include:

Java Blue Cafe
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
Bonsai Express
The Chef's Table
Cherry on Top
Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse

Entertainment & Activities: Carnival ships certainly do not lack entertainment and activity options but this is not stopping Carnival from raising the bar and offering even more! Some additional entertainment and activity options you'll find include:

In addition to the updated interior spaces, you can bet Sunrise will feature new outdoor activities such as:
An all-new Waterworks
SportsSquare: this outdoor venue will boast a ropes course, sports court, jogging track, ping pong, foosball, pool tables and a mini-golf course!
Adults only Serenity Retreat
Like said before Carnival is leaving no area of the Triumph untouched when she rebrands to Sunrise so there are much more updates including: The addition of the Cloud 9 Spa Brand new kid and teen clubs "The Warehouse" all-new video arcade Expanded retail offering to offer mall like shopping experiences!
More information and renderings of the new Carnival Sunrise will continue to emerge over the next few weeks! The Triumphs drydock is scheduled for March 1st, 2019. After emerging from drydock the Sunrise will first sail from Norfolk, VA then move to New York and finally to Ft. Lauderdale, FL!
