Crescent Heights Sets Sail with Launch of Crescent Seas: Ultra-Luxury Residences at Sea
Crescent Heights, one of the nation’s most prominent real estate developers, is turning its signature sky-high luxury into a seafaring experience with the launch of Crescent Seas—an exclusive new venture offering high-end private residences aboard fully outfitted ships. Melding the elegance of the yachting lifestyle with the expertise of over 50 years of luxury development, Crescent Seas aims to redefine what it means to live—and travel—in style.
Leading the inaugural launch is the Navigator, a former cruise ship now undergoing a transformative $50 million refurbishment through a collaboration with three elite design firms: Lissoni & Partners, Journey, and MAWD. The revitalized vessel will house 210 residences, priced between $750,000 and $8 million, each boasting luxurious touches like white-glove butler service and high-speed Starlink internet connectivity, enabling seamless remote work and schooling.
Sales for the Navigator's residences will open to the public on April 9, with a dedicated sales gallery opening in Miami. The ship’s maiden voyage is scheduled for December 2026, and it will serve as the flagship for a broader rollout of four additional luxury residence ships over the next five years.
“At sea, we found a craving for more than just temporary luxury,” said Russell W. Galbut, Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Crescent Heights and the visionary behind Crescent Seas. “Why vacation to one gateway city when you could live in all of them? We’ve used our legacy of building magical communities on land to create something equally enchanting on the water.”
Unlike traditional cruises, Crescent Seas residents won’t just visit ports—they’ll live in them. Itineraries are designed for extended stays, with each stop lasting 2–3 days, giving residents a deeper connection to global destinations ranging from French Polynesia to the Faroe Islands to Madagascar.
Marisa Galbut, President of Crescent Seas, emphasized the experiential nature of the journeys. “Residents will explore remote, extraordinary parts of the world while enjoying the comforts of home—only this home moves.”
Day-to-day operations and five-star hospitality aboard the Navigator will be overseen by The Apollo Group, a cruise industry service leader with over five decades of experience. The ship’s existing crew and hospitality teams will remain onboard, ensuring a seamless, first-class lifestyle at sea.
Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, affirmed the ship’s next chapter. “While Navigator holds cherished memories for many, our partnership with Crescent Seas allows her legacy to continue—this time, as a permanent home for those seeking a life of luxury travel.”
Crescent Seas is being developed in partnership with GFO Investments, Galbut’s global family office, and a major investor in Crescent Heights. Galbut’s rare fusion of cruise industry leadership and high-profile real estate development—including marquee projects like Ten Thousand in Los Angeles and 25 Broad Street in New York—positions Crescent Seas as a groundbreaking response to the growing demand for ultra-luxury, nomadic living.
Galbut said, “With most of the Earth covered in water, it’s time we expanded our communities to embrace the oceans. Crescent Seas isn’t just about travel—it’s about belonging to the world.”
