Celebrity Cruises is breaking new ground in the cruise industry with the introduction of Celebrity Xcel® and its innovative Xcel 'Dream MakersSM' program. This global initiative invites travelers worldwide to become co-creators of their dream vacation experience on the fifth ship in the cruise line’s award-winning Edge® Series, set to launch in November 2025.
Celebrity Cruises is handing over the reins of vacation design to the public in a bold industry-first move. Participants in the Xcel 'Dream Makers' community will be able to shape key elements of the ship's design, dining, and entertainment experiences through online polls and exclusive in-person events. The selections will be brought to life aboard Celebrity Xcel, ensuring guests find their happy place on board and actively help build it.

Entertainment Excellence: Shaping headline shows, costumes, playlists, and entertainment roles.
Pioneering Sustainability at Sea
Celebrity Xcel not only represents the future of personalized cruising but is also a significant step forward in sustainable travel. Recently floated out of dry dock at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France, the ship boasts the cruise industry's first tri-fuel capable engine. This cutting-edge innovation aligns with Celebrity’s parent company, Royal Caribbean Group’s Destination Net Zero vision, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.
Exploring the World with Celebrity Xcel
Following her November 2025 debut, Celebrity Xcel will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night Caribbean itineraries to destinations such as the Bahamas, Mexico, and St. Thomas. The summer of 2026 will see the ship embark on her inaugural European season, featuring immersive seven- to 11-night Mediterranean voyages out of Barcelona and Athens, with new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.
