6 Reasons to Sail on Carnival Vista

Carnival Vista

Six things that makes Carnival Vista a must sail ship.

Carnival Vista is debuting in just six days and she is Carnival Cruises most innovative and largest ship ever built.

Carnival Vista will be 133,500 Gross registered Tons, 1055 feet long and will hold approximately 6,427 passenger (this number includes crew). Vista includes many first for Carnival and a few first at sea! Here are six reasons why Carnival Vista is a must sail ship

Carnival Multiplex featuring IMAX and Thrill Theater:

Carnival Vista will be the first at sea to feature IMAX 3D movie theater and a "thrill theatre.” As many of us know IMAX is a 3D movie theater but “Thrill Theater” is being described as “jump-off- the-screen visuals are the beginning.” What is Carnival hiding behind door number 2 of the Carnival Multiplex? I cannot wait to see what “Thrill Theater” is gong to have in store for us but the element of surprise puts this on the list of why Vista is a must sail.

Serenity Adults only Retreat:

Adults only retreat is the very first place I run to when I get on my cruise (after the bar). Why does this make the list if it is so “common,” to start nothing on Carnival Vista is “common” and the Adults Only Retreat is a perfect example of how Vista is making the most common cruise elements a “Vista” only element. Located on the top deck forward the Adults only retreat is located above the noise from every other venue onboard.

Dr. Suess Bookville:

Carnival is exemplifying their partnership with Dr. Suess by bringing “Bookville” to Carnival Vista. Bookville looks like it was taken directly out of a Dr. Suess book and put on Vista. Bookville will, of course, have shelves filled with books top to bottom, feature wacky furniture, and some of your favorite Dr. Suess characters will adorn the walls. Why not read a book in a fantasy world?

Carnival Vista’s Atrium:

Vista’s atrium is where all parts of the ship come together. The atrium will feature the atrium bar, access to the gift shops, the Lani, the Casino, numerous bars and lounges, and Horizon’s restaurant (main dining room). The most impressive feature in the Vista Atrium the massive LED columns on either end of the atrium which will display different scenes throughout the day bring the atrium to life at all time of the day.

The Havana Staterooms & Suites:

These are the staterooms we have all been waiting for, staterooms that bring you “back to the sea.” The Havana staterooms and suites are an exclusive area of Carnival Vista that allows guests staying in this category stateroom to have their own indoor and outdoor lounges. These stateroom are your own private island retreat and if you stay in a Havana Suite your balcony is open to the elements and feature your very own hammock chairs.

Skyride:

Ever think you would be riding a bike hundreds of feet above the ocean? Well now you can with the first ever at sea Sky ride, exclusively on Carnival Vista. Skyride features a track with peddle bikes that you can peddle around the top deck of Carnival Vista this is going to be huge.
